Stephen Colbert called himself a 'martyr' before firing off a crude message to Donald Trump, warning 'the gloves are off' after the president gloated over The Late Show’s cancellation.

The comedian's decade-long run as the host of CBS' late night flagship will end next May, with network insiders suggesting the top-rated show was canceled because it was losing anywhere from $40 to $100million per year.

The cancellation was announced just days after Colbert called CBS' parent company Paramount's $16million settlement with Trump over deceptive editing of a 60 Minutes interview with Kamala Harris a 'big fat bribe.'

I am the martyr. There is only room for one on this cross. And the view is fantastic from up here. I can see your house!'

Comment:
Colbert believes that he is a martyr for the corrupt Democrat Party.
Colbert was a poor interviewer and a cringy comedian.
His show was losing $millions$ per year.
His unhinged psycho hate and anger was fun to laugh at.

CBS paid a fine because of their blatant deceptive editing, trying to affect an election. They're fortunate it was only 16 Million.

Colbert lost his show because people stopped watching. TDS isn't funny. Non stop TDS lecturing becomes annoying.

They just can't help themselves

CBS paid because $16 million was cheaper than the lawyers were going to be.

Trump had no case. The paltry size of the settlement the arbitrator proposed makes that very clear.

Trump got a tiny fraction of what he asked for.

Nothing more than "go away money".

And Colbert got his "go away" FU from his former employer. :auiqs.jpg:

He's hilarious, but not in the way he thought he was.

He's over.

Talk about a generous reprive. The sick puppy comic has 10 months
to seal his fate as The Most Hated comic in American history.
Fatty Arbuckle had nothing on Colbert.

The few select times i tried to listen and pay attention to this
Colbert ... it was as settling as sitting in the Dentist office
while listening to Kids whose mommies are in the waiting room
act as if auditioning for a new old release of an Original Universal
- Dracula - Movie.Maybe a good Hammer Fillms version.

Colbert is popular enough to be a danger to the Trump regime that will need to be neutralized.

It may not escalate past the usual hate rhetoric.
I'm sure that you can make some quantitative proof that Colbert is a threat to Trump. All he's doing is the same thing he did in Trump's first term. If he has so much influence, how did Trump win the popular vote and all the swing states? There's no media person on the left that's an actual threat to Trump.
