Horseshit.Well, you know, they did raid the Capitol and interfere with the peaceful transfer of power.
I agree!Following the Constitution sure as hell doesn't threaten democracy...lol
Oh, so that was just a normal tourist day?Horseshit.
When did he do that? Show your work.I agree!
However the former president was requesting the constitution not be followed and that is a threat.
Mike Pence released that information to the Jan 6 investigation. Oh, and Trump has confessed many times. When did he do that? Show your work.
Lets see some quotes.Mike Pence released that information to the Jan 6 investigation. Oh, and Trump has confessed many times.
When he asked Pence to disregard properly chosen and certified electoral votes from a number of states who voted for his opponent. When did he do that? Show your work.
I am not playing stupid human tricks with you. Trump critizes Pence for certifying the vote to this day. I am sure in the other reality that never happened.Lets see some quotes.
As usual, you people can't support any fucking claim you make.I am not playing stupid human tricks with you. Trump critizes Pence for certifying the vote to this day. I am sure in the other reality that never happened.
Do you really believe Trump did not try to get Pence to interfere with the peaceful transfer of power? As usual, you people can't support any fucking claim you make.
yea but if its the far right ones....then we still may have problems...the far right is just as crazy as the far left....I dont think so...in fact if anybody is going to rescue us from the insane, leftist power grabbing, it's the Republicans.
Pence supported the Senate's rejection to certify the votes. He was ready to go along with it and not overrule those objections. That's the part the VP plays in the process. When he asked Pence to disregard properly chosen and certified electoral votes from a number of states who voted for his opponent.
Can you show evidence that he did?Do you really believe Trump did not try to get Pence to interfere with the peaceful transfer of power?
Pence allowed the objections to be heard in compliance with the law, but given that these objections would be voted down by the Democrats in the House, everyone knew this was a fruitless endeavor.Pence supported the Senate's rejection to certify the votes. He was ready to go along with it and not overrule those objections. That's the part the VP plays in the process.
Rawsewage?Donald Trump's recent threat to unleash his supporters on major U.S. cities and suggestion that—if reelected—he would consider pardoning January 6 insurrectionists underscore the dire need to defeat the former president and his far-right GOP allies, both of which represent "a clear and present danger" to democracy.
"Little has been done to hold Trump accountable or stop future presidents from similarly abusing their power."
That's the message of an open letterreleased Thursday by a coalition of advocacy organizations including Public Citizen, MoveOn Civic Action, Stand Up America, and the Digital Democracy Project.
Coalition warns Trump and GOP allies pose 'unprecedented' threat to democracy

The accountability is coming. They just don’t believe it yet.
By pure potential, if there was real pushback, many of you would be dead. There isn't any. Your phukn with people in Canada who are mostly vaccinated. You are the tyranny. And that tyranny is going to get rid of people as they always do. And that includes you.Donald Trump's recent threat to unleash his supporters on major U.S. cities and suggestion that—if reelected—he would consider pardoning January 6 insurrectionists underscore the dire need to defeat the former president and his far-right GOP allies, both of which represent "a clear and present danger" to democracy.

It is telling to listen to their argument that goes like this:So the past few months as soon as democrat approval really went in the shitter these are things they suddenly have been screaming.
Trump is a threat to democracy and will cause a civil war and destroy America.
Republicans are trying to destroy freedom and democracy.
The voting laws are corrupt (even though they haven't changed since Biden won and they said the election was foolproof) and the next election "may be illegitimate" (meaning if they don't win) and that they need new voting laws they want to create.
Everything is racist. Like in Virginia they had a white governor that was a democrat and nothing was wrong, soon as he loses to a white Republican then it was a racist election.
