CNN's Hunt Notes 'Massive Failure' by Secret Service—Silences Talk of Possible 'Inside Job'

It's a classic attempted coup. They tried to get Trump with rogue elements of the FBI creating faked documents. They impeached him on bogus charges. They convicted Trump of technical charges that nobody understands and that failed. What's left? You saw it.

CNN's Hunt Notes 'Massive Failure' by Secret Service

Silences Talk of Possible 'Inside Job'

14 Jul 2024 ~~ By Mark Finkelstein

On CNN this morning, host Kasie Hunt described the attempted assassination of Donald Trump in blunt, truthful terms as:
"A massive failure by the Secret Service."
Moments later, when panelist Elliott Williams, in the context of a discussion of unverified information on social media, made mention of people floating the notion of an "inside job," Hunt shut him down, saying:
"We don't want to get into that."
Hunt might well have valid journalistic reasons for shutting down speculation about an inside job.
Although it was not as if the person who raised it, Elliott Williams, did so to lend credence to the notion. To the contrary, Williams, a CNN analyst, is a former Obama DoJ official. He mentioned "inside job" in the context of criticizing unverified information on social media.

Commentary:
After all the rallies indoors and out, that Trump has held over all these years, and with the massive number of people who have attended each and every one of them, that something like this should happen within a day of the Republican National Convention kicking off, is not a coincidence. There is no such thing as coincidences.
The fact that the FBI asked to use deadly physical force at Mar-a-lago had the chance arisen, speaks loudly here.
Democrat Neo-Marxists clearly have murder/assassination on their mind. It's their one last hope to get rid of the man once and for all. Two impeachments that failed to remove Trump, fake lawsuits, numerous fake criminal charges, prosecutions and persecution, now a failed assassination attempt. Yep probably all coincidences.
A massive failure is an understatement
Dear Lying Quisling Media, please explain why a roof top, with ladder access, less than 150 yards from the top 10 highest value targets in the world, had clear line of sight to both the stage and the egress route to the exit car, left unguarded and uncovered?
That is, at the very least, pure reckless incompetence verging on the criminal.
This was either gross incompetence or inside jobby Democrat Neo-Marxists. Pick one.
That is, unless someone can come up with a different plausible explanation.

It just happened yesterday. Can you clowns wait at least a week before starting your dumb comspiracy theories?

Except for the small fact trump isnt in any type of government office. Now get back to the drawing board and come up with a better kooky conspiracy.

This is my current theory based on the layout of the grounds and photos of the shooter laying dead on the roof:

I believe the shooter was here:

Or perhaps at the other, similar building. These were the only buildings in the right position and distance with a flat roof. And because they were restroom facilities, they remained open and available to the public, and no one thought anything unusual of one more guy walking into it. He went in, maybe with an AR with folding stock in a bag, then gained access to the roof for an ideal, easy position from which to take aim.

Maybe he went there days earlier before the event and staked out the location seeing or making a way to gain access to the roof via some door or something.
I don't know what you're looking at there...but I think this is the location.

I think he was on top of that AGR International building.

The Secret Service is a federal law enforcement agency under the Department of Homeland Security that is responsible for protecting current and former national leaders, including the President, Vice President, and their families.

In addition to its protective duties, the Secret Service also investigates financial crimes, such as counterfeiting and financial fraud. It plays a crucial role in safeguarding the nation's financial infrastructure and combating cybercrime.

The agency was originally established in 1865 to combat counterfeiting, but its protective mission was expanded after the assassination of President William McKinley in 1901.

Since then, the Secret Service has been tasked with protecting the President and other high-ranking officials.

Overall, the Secret Service plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of the nation's leaders and upholding the integrity of the U.S. financial system.

The US Department of Homeland Security has faced criticism for its perceived shortcomings in protecting key politicians. Some criticisms include:

1. Inadequate threat assessments: Critics argue that the DHS has failed to accurately assess potential threats to key political figures, leaving them vulnerable to security breaches.

2. Lack of coordination: There have been concerns about the lack of coordination between different agencies within the DHS and with other law enforcement agencies, resulting in gaps in security protocols.

3. Insufficient resources: Some critics believe that the DHS does not allocate enough resources, both in terms of funding and manpower, to adequately protect key politicians.

4. Slow response times: In some incidents, the DHS has been criticized for slow response times to security threats, potentially putting key politicians at risk.

5. Communication breakdowns: There have been instances where communication breakdowns between the DHS and the Secret Service have hindered effective security measures for key politicians.

One example of criticism was the breach of security during the January 6th Capitol riot in 2021. Some lawmakers raised concerns about the lack of adequate security measures in place to protect members of Congress during the attack. This event highlighted the disparities in security protocols and responses for various politicians, with some receiving better protection than others.

Inside job? I don't think so. Now I know what's going on in the DHS. Anyone can make a mistake. But only smart people correct it! :)

On paper, she looks like she should know what she's doing. I like that she has private sector experience, though I'm not sure how much of a threat there is to Pepsi-Cola executives.

My guess is that she indeed knows how a protective agency should operate, but that's not the priority that her bosses have set for her. Registering illegal voters and searching for fringe outliars to recruit for diversity's sake are her marching orders.
She failed. Don’t care if “orders” came from the top, she should had ignored them or gone public against them.

He was on top of that AGR International Building...

That begs the question:
  1. I can see his gaining access to the roof of a restroom, but how did he gain access or know he could gain access to those big buildings way over there? And how were these not secured or watched? Who owns those big building that their roofs were so easily accessed?
  2. How does a kid with no expressed political interest, drive an hour north to Butler, find these buildings, find access to a roof, and almost shoot a president?
  3. Those buildings look a lot farther away than 400 feet. If he shot from there, it is a miracle he came within just a half inch of killing Trump. That was one freaking lucky crack shot.
I mean, it was just a kid two years out of high school.

No need to invoke the Saviors name. The attempted assassination has all the earmarks of an attempted political coup. The Secret Service is silent today. The FBI has the shooters cell phone but they claim that they can't get into it on a Sunday. . Biden comes out with about five minutes of platitudes and America is left wondering how an FBI sniper could be set up to take this guy out but let him fire about ten rounds. Somebody is guilty of criminal negligent homicide in the death of an innocent American who merely took part in the political system. If Congress has enough political courage to investigate the investigators thoroughly and it is found that it was actually an attempted coup it might be the end of the American legal system as we know it.

Two months out of highschool I had an expert marksmanship badge and could consistently center mass man-sized popup targets at 300 meters with an M16A1.

A rooftop that is clearly in the sights of a potential assassin doesn't just get "overlooked".

If attendees were able to spot him from the ground, and for several minutes, while he got into position for his planned assassination, all the while yelling at security, teling them what was happening, then surely one would think that highly trained snipers who had a much higher ground should also have spotted him during those same several minutes.

Supposedly they were blocked by trees

So far as I can tell, the so-called ''conspiracy nuts'' have a near perfect record over the course of the last few years versus that of the so-called normies.

And which tree, by your model, blocked their line of sight, btw?

It's been barely 24 hours and you can't even hold back your craziness for that long. Seriously, get off this board and get professional help.
