CNN's Hunt Notes 'Massive Failure' by Secret Service—Silences Talk of Possible 'Inside Job'

On paper, she looks like she should know what she's doing. I like that she has private sector experience, though I'm not sure how much of a threat there is to Pepsi-Cola executives.

My guess is that she indeed knows how a protective agency should operate, but that's not the priority that her bosses have set for her. Registering illegal voters and searching for fringe outliars to recruit for diversity's sake are her marching orders.

No wonder then that this happened!

The biggest failure will be if she doesn't lose her job.

News is reporting shooter was confronted by popo right before. Popo was shot or fell off roof. Crazy turned and started shooting at Trump.
No “popo” were shot or injured. He retreated without sounding an alarm

When will we hear from the secret service head?... she is in hiding... figures... her last job was with a soda pop company... who approved this failure?...

I wonder if Trump has or should get a private police force to have around him at all times now?

Now he will have to.... there is no other solution to the problem.

Get your private people to protect you Trump!

We can all see how dangerous is for Trump to rely on those other ones!

I'm going to tell you exactly what happened here.

It's the same thing that happens to guards and protection agents everywhere.

You cannot keep up 100% preparedness for the unexpected 100% of the time.

Nothing happens...and more nothing happens...and still more nothing happens.

Complacency sets in, and nothing happening becomes normal. That normalcy bias of nothing happening must be replaced by procedure.

Do this...then do this...then do this...scan your sector, check in with thus and so, walk this perimeter. Checklists and SOP, with leadership briefings and support as well as supervision.

Did you observe agent so-and-so and was he/she actively engaged in whatever he was supposed to be doing...if yes great...attaboy.

If they were fucking off, out of position, jawjackin', staring off into space...corrective action needs to be taken.

There was a breakdown of both agent professionalism and dedication... and vastly more threatening...a failure of leadership.

That's my opinion, anyway.

CNN's Hunt Notes 'Massive Failure' by Secret Service

Silences Talk of Possible 'Inside Job'

14 Jul 2024 ~~ By Mark Finkelstein

On CNN this morning, host Kasie Hunt described the attempted assassination of Donald Trump in blunt, truthful terms as:
"A massive failure by the Secret Service."
Moments later, when panelist Elliott Williams, in the context of a discussion of unverified information on social media, made mention of people floating the notion of an "inside job," Hunt shut him down, saying:
"We don't want to get into that."
Hunt might well have valid journalistic reasons for shutting down speculation about an inside job.
Although it was not as if the person who raised it, Elliott Williams, did so to lend credence to the notion. To the contrary, Williams, a CNN analyst, is a former Obama DoJ official. He mentioned "inside job" in the context of criticizing unverified information on social media.

Commentary:
After all the rallies indoors and out, that Trump has held over all these years, and with the massive number of people who have attended each and every one of them, that something like this should happen within a day of the Republican National Convention kicking off, is not a coincidence. There is no such thing as coincidences.
The fact that the FBI asked to use deadly physical force at Mar-a-lago had the chance arisen, speaks loudly here.
Democrat Neo-Marxists clearly have murder/assassination on their mind. It's their one last hope to get rid of the man once and for all. Two impeachments that failed to remove Trump, fake lawsuits, numerous fake criminal charges, prosecutions and persecution, now a failed assassination attempt. Yep probably all coincidences.
A massive failure is an understatement
Dear Lying Quisling Media, please explain why a roof top, with ladder access, less than 150 yards from the top 10 highest value targets in the world, had clear line of sight to both the stage and the egress route to the exit car, left unguarded and uncovered?
That is, at the very least, pure reckless incompetence verging on the criminal.
This was either gross incompetence or inside jobby Democrat Neo-Marxists. Pick one.
That is, unless someone can come up with a different plausible explanation.
