You can see that inflation has not waned as much as it should have. Our fiat currency is mature with huge deficits that it handles with the devil deal that it gives less of a bump to the economy as time moves on. So, we exist on cheaper made products from overseas to compensate for our growing laziness and collecting checks and benefits. The dark side is that other nations get the real growth though they still need us as we are huge consumers. Eventually they will not need us.

In economics, the pie is always growing so we can build the poorer and the middle class up without having to take any money away from Elon Musk. At some point a company will just pack their bags and leave. We can argue about where that line is, but if you take a look at NY and California's tax rate, thats probably about where the line is.
