Close to another nervous breakdown

My unprofessional opinion watching her life for 20 years or so is that OCD is a coping mechanism to filter out complexity and disruptions to your STANDARDS for things. Like those scratches on your TV. Or my MinLaw needing us to bring in 4 different mattresses before she finally accepted one. Cant even buy her clothes anymore. She's wearing night gowns that are thread-bare and over-stitched, because the "feel isn't right' on anything new we try. We went thru 5 kinds of "fabric softener" on several new ones to try and please her.

It's like the story of the Princess and the Pea.. Go read it.

Maybe it's your standards and goals that need a reboot.

Who doesn't?? My 90 yr old Mom in Law who lives here is SERIOUSLY OCD. You couldn't begin to compete with her. OCD NARROWS your vision of the world and your life. It's like blinders on a horse. Her view of life is SO narrow now -- that her environment has to be SMALL and PERFECT. And she'll barely come out of there.

OCD doesn't just happen -- it's a long process that you WILLINGLY make happen.
Wow you really understand
She has severe ocd
Thx for caring

Sorry I am not a good poster

Have you looked into Lamictal or Olanzopine? Over the years on health insurance applications, I have found my clients to say these 2 meds probably saved their lives

There's a park outside Vegas called Red Rocks or something like that. Cactus is probably gonna bloom soon. Spend some time there. LESS on the net !!
Good job there sir!! I know when a crisis arises, you'll be there while everyone runs pizzin their pants

I know this is only a message board, but someone is being very serious here

I know I'm a fukterd to some here, but that is pretend. This kind of crap ain't a joke

Head on out to The Bunny Ranch and get your pipes cleaned.

GET OFF THE FUCKING NET>>THE MORE TIME ONE SPENDS ON THE NET THE HIGHER THE CHANCES ARE OF DEPRESSION
It drags one in alright. When my computer is down I'm completely out of sorts until it's fixed.:flirtysmile4:

Last one was 2018 where I went to compete psychotic meltdown and had to be “ under medical care “

Looks like I heading to a new one

Physically I am lean and mean
CBT, just need to think differently.

If you think you're having a bad day, just remember that somewhere a fat kid has just dropped his ice cream.

Also, count you're lucky stars you're not a siamese twin and the other is gay, and you share the same arsehole. Life has it's up's and down and Bruce Lee once said - Do not pray for an easy life but for the strength to endure a difficult one.

So pecker up, just think differently and soldier on. As people have breakdowns etc.. life out there still goes on without you, people will still want to get to work, the sun still rises, and the pet dog will still want to play ball.

We all have troubles, we all handle them differently, and that's the thing called life.
