Parting scene in one of Hollywoods greatest movies.
The year was 1969 and things were a changin'.
The Hippie movement and massive changes in hair
and dress and of course culture.Like Andy Warhola
knew something we dint.
Of course Warhol never changed. His Factory was
all glitter, yet he attended mass every day as a Catholic
growing up in the poorest section of Pittsburg.
He never talked like most those from Pittsburg.
Not that Joe Buck { Jon Voight } - Midnight Cowboy -
or Dustin Hoffmann who are both with us care to
act conflicted.
Voight gave a quite political statement within the last
week.Addressing what should be done to address this new
childish movement that has virtually managed to take
over not merely ursurp the Greatest Big city on earth.
He wants Trump to step in and DENY how N.Y.city
the city of - Midnight Cowboy - { 1969 } can be hijacked
politically.Before any more Ratso Rizzo, { Hoffman character }
die on a bus heading south in florida.
I doubt many Joe Bucks today have a clue.
They too have been gotten to.One way or another.

For those insisting on context.
" Close his eyes " was the Instruction
the Bus driver { Greyhound } Gave to Joe Buck
as he sat in his short sleeve shirt trying to nudge
his buddy Ratso to wake up.
Ratso { Dustin Hoffman } was already dead
leaning against the bus window with a dead fish
stare in his eyes.
Today more than ever ... - Midnight Cowboy - {1969
should be mandatory viewing in High School.
What better context should be given.
Before high school age students become any more
... { You fill in the word }

I think { I know } what John Belushi { would have pondered {.
Dan Ackroid was just Interviewed by Adam Carolla a couple
weeks ago.
I think you’re being incoherent. In fact, I know it.

And, by the way, the image of Blutarsky is just an avatar, not a statement of political position.

Depressing movie.

Depressing movie.
It is a once in a lifetime Dramatic Film.
Capturing N.Y.City as seldom filmed before.
It was not a Comedy. But a fictionalized Drama.
The acting,Lifelike as ever true scenes and habits
of that era was spot-on.\
Comedies are seldom brilliant films.
In fact, comedies used to be kinda good.
Especially in the 60's.S'not nose mores.
Comedies got to be boringly juvenile in the
late 60's.Around the time of the Mod scene and
Laugh-in.
