No! Of course nobody is so out of tune with economics as to think that all programs can earn a pfofit!
Why would you not understand that some programs pay in the positive spinoffs that can result out of the initial program?

Ask the same question on the response, or lack of response to the Covid 19 pandemic? Do you expect the vaccines to earn a profit directly out of getting them into American arms?

Do you understand that some 'profits' come indirectly from many social programs?

Do you even understand a need for social programs?

If the glacial melt is slowed down then the cost of building seawalls on America's coasts could decrease, and thusly taxation decreases.

As a Christian, and not an idiot, I know that conversation is over. Now it is time to go back to throwing money at the UN. Lots and lots of our money and then a lot more to make up for countries that don't pay their fair share.

All countries pay their fair share to the UN and that's dependent on what they receive in return from the UN.
The deposed president threatened to withdraw America from the UN but that was before he was informed on how America needs the UN. Especially important for US upholding of the ME's apartheid regime!
