Classic Christmas Songs

Bing Crosby and David Bowie: Drummer Boy

Carroll of the Bells

Ave Maria (not really XMas, makes me cry like a baby sometimes, wife says I have trauma)

Dominic the Donkey

Joy to the World (this one makes me happy)

I like all of those, except for Dominic the Donkey which I’ve never heard of.

It amazes me that the Christmas songs we love are the same ones that our parents, grandparents, great grandparents grew up with.

Silent Night 1818
Jingle Bells. 1857
Up on the Housetop. 1864
Santa Claus is coming to town. 1934
White Christmas. 1942
Rudolph. 1949

I`m very glad that they stopped playing that annoying 12 Days of Christmas.

So far I`ve been lucky enough to not hear Springsteen`s Santa Claus Is Coming to Town. That`s awful.
