Classic Black Artists.. and memories

When my little girl was just a little girl I put coal in her Christmas stocking and she is still grateful about it.
It was a Nat King Cole album that now we both treasure.

The Platters would be denounced as a collection of Uncle Toms and a submissive Aunt Jemima by today's black "leaders" like Al Sharpton and Louis Farrakhan and all the pieces of human garbage in the Black Caucus in the Congress of the United States.

Charlie Pride was the Jackie Robinson of country music. Had the voice that no prejudice contain or suppress.

And if I may add, the resolve and the determination to succeed in a world that by definition would be alien to his heritage.

If more black people took Charlie Pride as role model than Al Sharpton the world would be a better place.
