As a soldier you go where you are told and do what you are ordered to do (as long as the orders are legal). I was never ordered to “hate” my enemy. The person you may end up killing may be a lot like you. He may also have joined the military and went where he was sent and was doing what he was ordered.You dont hate them but you would have taken up arms to kill them. Like I said you're one confused cat.![]()
(I personally was fortunate enough to never be in combat, so I never killed anyone. However the planes I worked while in the Air Force were responsible for the death of many Vietnamese soldiers and saved the lives of many of our soldiers.)
Wars are not normally started by the citizens of a nation but by their leaders. In our case often our leaders seen to want to start wars to profit the military industrial complex.
