Through all this bullshit none of you people who say guns are the problem have addressed how you would keep criminals from getting guns or what you would do to criminals who use guns other than prevent people who will never commit a crime with or without a gun from having them.

Given we lead the world in cop shootings, cops being shot, mass shootings, gun violence... There is a lot of room for improvement. Every civilized country in the world has us beat. We have been moving toward more lax gun laws and violent crime is increasing. Clearly that is the wrong direction.

We have not been moving toward more lax gun laws. In fact where gun laws are strictest is where we have the most crime.

States with the most lax gun laws have lower murder rates than states with the strictest gun laws.

Despite all of the UK's gun laws, gun bans and gun confiscation their murder rate has not dropped below the level is was before all those laws bans and confiscations

So I don't really know how you can say that the same here will lower our murder rate since our murder rate is still what it was in the 1950's
