Superb photography and natural scenery, along with some unknowing cooperation of the local inhabitants, makes this a very interesting and rewarding program.
Watched a red fox dive repeatedly straight down into a foot of snow to finally catch a rodent immediately below the grass in a small tunnel...a bison stuck in two feet of snow being pushed by the another one behind...a wolf pack attempting to cut out a weak elk from a herd, giving up after quickly realizing there wasn't a weak one among them...
The photographer returns every winter to capture more and more images...spends the night in a down sleeping bag under a thin tarp...with wind and temperatures both in the twenties...NOT my kind of camping!
