Chris McDaniel is Mississippi's Roy Moore

Right now McDaniel is primarying Roger Wicker, but with the recent announcement from Thad Cochran that he is retiring from the Senate prematurely next month, that will trigger a special election for that seat and there is speculation McDaniel may switch races. If he were to win that nomination, the GOP would once again be putting up the worst possible candidate they could in an easy race and possibly hand it straight to the Democrats. Mississippi, while strongly Republican, is not as red as Alabama.

I hope GOP voters see the light and reject him. I'd rather have a normal republican elected, than give this nutjob a shot just because a Democrat might beat him. We all got really lucky in Alabama.
