Hitchens was actually quite the mixed bag.
He drank like Hunter S. Thompson, and was a hapless proponent of the Iraq war.
As a libertarian non-Christian, his atheist antics fail to offend me anywhere near as much as his latter day embrace of neoconservatism's bloody blunders.
That said, there is no denying he was a smart guy - and he would have absolutely despised "woke" and anything to do with it - being a strong proponent of free speech.
Remember when politics was somewhat nuanced?
Instead of just, "If Trump does it = BAD."
