It is understandable that there needs to be an ongoing effort to get people engaged in a political process that is rigged and beyond corrupt.

After all, how would it look if people simply stopped voting. It would give an impression to the rest of the world that political power in the US is illegitimate. All politicians would have to do to win office is sit in their basement to campaign.
