Based on the title of this thread and Republican misinformation that drives the parties position….it is CLEAR that Republicans have no business getting involved in this issue.

Transexualism is more than chopping off a penis and building a vagina in its place. It is rarely done and almost never in children. A fake vagina has no muscle tone and no sexual sensitivity. That is why most Transexuals keep their original sexual organs.
What they do in most cases is take hormones that suppress muscle development, hair growth. Waiting until they are adults makes the process less successful

It is also not the norm with Transexuals

However, many trans children will be given puberty blockers. Waiting until they are 18 is too late, the transition has already occurred
