Chomsky makes first Gaza visit

The guy in the video hates Jews just like Jews hate Muslims. Jews call them animals and want to wipe them off the face of the earth. There's nothing disturbing about the video. It's common sense

Jews don't want to wipe Muslims off the face of the earth, idiot. They just want their tiny land. The world doesn't need a 23rd non-productive, crazy Arab state.

How does one make a ludicrous statement like this when the World's (planet earth) Nations consistently support a two state solution and only a US veto at the UN stalls the inevitable?

Which world do you speak about? Is it Jupiter or Mars?

Jroc just said that it includes "Judea and Sameria"...which of course is the ancient way of referring to the West Bank(Palestinian land).

No one cares what a book from thousands of years ago says. It's illegal in today's world to "resettle" in other worlds illegally occupy.

It is illegal to acquire land through the threat or use of force.

It is illegal to annex land you occupy.

Israel has never legally acquired any land.

What I meant was that the world wouldn't have cellphones or iPads without Israel. My Israeli doctor uncle is working on eye surgery advances right now, while Because's friends are working on the latest bombing techniques.

et al,

Whether you like Dr Noam Chomsky, or not, he is brilliant in many ways, and is one of those very few people who can take those of us, with ordinary intellectual capacity, and invoke an emotion - inspiring us to take a position, we would not otherwise give any consideration to at all. Some people have pinned Chomsky with the usual tags of linguist, philosopher, cognitive scientist, logician, historian, political critic, and activist; but what Chomsky really is - is an enlightened observer. While the usual litany of tags are applicable, they are nothing more than a list of tools Chomsky brings to the table to help shed light on the core issues and ignite the discussion. Chomsky brings to the debate in the same refined talent as does the cabinet maker brings to carpentry. While he has faith and belief in the position he takes, it is often the case that he is just as happy to see his opinion and perspective trigger a sincere intellectual response (differing from an emotional outburst); even if it is an opposition view.

Dr Chomsky, Jewish himself, is often criticized and demonized by opponents as being a anti-semitic and taking positions that counter Israeli policy and positions; as well as his critical view of US Foreign Policy. But rarely are any of his major points of fact found to be misleading or untrue. What is debatable are the interpretations assigned to these facts and the consequences. This has been exemplified most recently in the case of the US Veto of a Two-State Solution.

Dr Chomsky is not a US Diplomat or Foreign Service Officer. He is an academician with view of interest (otherwise we wouldn't even know his name). He has his own experiences and continues to add to those experiences. Travel to Palestine should not be a point for which we should challenge his motives or his position. Either his facts are correct, or they are not. And it is by that standard that we should address the Chomsky Points and his interpretations. It should not be based on the resulting image and shadows cast upon Israel and US Policy and interference in the peace process.

Most Respectfully,
R

Good post. Chomsky is a brilliant man. Even though I never agree with anyone 100%, I do agree with him on most issues. He seems to have a good handle on world affairs.

I read a news clip the other day that a frenzy of creativity is one sign of mental illness. You could look it up. Chomsky is very creative.

Tinnie again expresses his support for Shariah law which
besides denying jews the right to ride upon camels---also denies
them the right to own land------and carry one of those big
knives -----the jihadists he admires use to slit the throats
of infants "LEGALLY" The fact is that in the 1800s
when Palestine was under OTTOMAN control----the Ottomans
as they were prone to do----did moderate shariah for their
own purposes-----and made it legal for jews to own land in
palestine-----To Tinnie's delight----there were still shariah cesspits
that followed that shariah law AND ----tinnie's most beloved shariah
law ------THE DHIMMI ORPHAN LAW------the one that brought
my own mother-in-law to palestine-----to escape forced
enslavement poor tinnie-----so upset that she was not
enslaved under the DHIMMI ORPHAN LAW-----and even escaped
to a place where it was not applied to Tinnie's regret. I have
even worse news------eventually her husband (my father-in-law)
earned enough money to buy a 1/4 DUNUM OF LAND plot
upon which the original house ----with modifications---like a real floor--
still stands ILLEGALLY according to Tinnie Tinnie----what should
be done with the house and 1/4 Dunum ??

do not despair----tinnie KHARTOUM still enforces the DHIMMI ORPHAN law
you so adore
