Well the other side of the coin is the Philippines tossed us out of our bases there, all that 'evul Amurkin imperialism n stuff', and now they're sniveling and whining for us to save them. I'm not sure we should do anything but give them the finger back at this point. But, it's in our interest to. We don't have to give them anything in order to resist the Red Chinese expansionist agenda.

They aren't sure who is going to win in November yet, their American employees, the Democrats, or Trump, so they're making some moves now in order to terrorize all the fat white sheltered Burb Brats in the U.S. and send messages to the big corporations who love their slave labor to do a better job of getting the vote out for Democrats. We've been pretty much fucked since Obama, who is probably doing a lot of happy dances these days over his heroes successes in Peking and Tehran.

The Philippines has a choice to make between standing up to china or becoming a vassal state under china

Its decision to fight is important for the fledgling alliance of smaller nations led by the US that can curb chinese expansion

President Marcos could have sold out to china and fattened his private bank account as the previous president did

But he is putting his country’s best interest first

By helping the Philippines America is also helping ourself
