China is challenging Trump.

Probably not wise as his team has been relaxed in their discussion of China of late but Trump is no fool, he knows who the risk to America is. With the funding of Russias war, China may end up being isolated even from Europe who realizes that if Russia takes Ukraine, they could be next.

I can't lie, the MSS do a very good job, using their numbers and open hostility towards America. I can't blame their efforts to try and topple America, but this is the battle of our generation. Choose: America or China. Period.

WASHINGTON (AP) — U.S. and Chinese officials may be able to settle many of their differences to reach a trade deal and avert punishing tariffs, but they remain far apart on one issue: the U.S. demand that China stop purchasing oil from Iran and Russia.

“China will always ensure its energy supply in ways that serve our national interests,” China’s Foreign Ministry posted on X on Wednesday following two days of trade negotiations in Stockholm, responding to the U.S. threat of a 100% tariff.

“Coercion and pressuring will not achieve anything. China will firmly defend its sovereignty, security and development interests,” the ministry said.
The response is notable at a time when both Beijing and Washington are signaling optimism and goodwill about reaching a deal to keep commercial ties between the world’s two largest economies stable — after climbing down from sky-high tariffs and harsh trade restrictions. It underscores China’s confidence in playing hardball when dealing with the Trump administration, especially when trade is linked to its energy and foreign policies.
U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, emerging from the talks, told reporters that when it comes to Russian oil purchases, the “Chinese take their sovereignty very seriously.”

August 12th, jack the tariffs up.

Immediately, give interest free loans to experienced mining companies and those who can refine into end goods and force mining of rare earth minerals in America. Produce at least three mines and eliminate Chinas main source of blackmail.

You have locations that could be extracted in Wyoming, Texas, Georgia, Montana etc.

Get to it and stop playing footsies with the CCP.

I wouldn't expect the Chinese to do anything other than defend themselves. Trump didn't do anythng inherently wrong and neither did China.

This isn't a Good Guy vs Bad Guy situation. China needs Oil. Bigly. Russian has lots of it and they're right next door.

What Trump is looking for is a 'Deal'. Something to hurt Russia without driving other Countries into their sphre of influence.

China needs oil. So does India. Can we supply both of them ourselves? No way. No way on God's Green Earth.

If China and India are refused oil by Russia, they're gonna look for it somewhere else. They have to. WHAT CHOICE DO THEY HAVE?

Trump knows this. He's three steps ahead of us. His plans? No clue, other than he wants to punish Russia. We differ on that. I want to eradicate Russia.

Russia (and the USSR) have been at the root of every bad thing that has happened in this World for the last 110 years.

THAT, Ladies and Gentlemen, is just a ******* FACT. Everything. Every War, every conflict, every revolution throughout the world and here, domestically.

Russia needs to be eradicated from the surface of the Planet. By whatever means are necessary

If Trump jacks up Chinese tariffs bigly, they are going to retaliate, probably in a major way. They ain't going to cave in IMHO. I don't know what they might do or how they'll do it, but it's gonna hurt us.

Communism is not and never will be copacetic with capitalism and democracy. We should never have pretended it was simply because they had 1 billion people and feigned the potential of a booming Middle Class.

Ultimately, and this is difficult to say now but it is probably accurate; the West would have been wiser to drag Russia into some form of democracy after communism collapsed there. China would have been isolated along with N Korea.

Instead, we just drew them closer together over time as the CCP used the old bait and switch, probably with Russias invisible hand influencing the CCP decisions. We must never be fooled again.

Play hardball now and drive China to change. We have been changing for them, destroying our own liberty to make a few easy dollars which will disappear once China bleeds the West of all its industries and IP. When the tides turn, we are all going to drown, including many of the naive elite.

By the way, years ago when the war on terror was at its height, I started to worry about Western intelligence being hoodwinked by major nation states such as China. Over the last decade Western intelligence has had to revert back to the old 1980s method of countering nuclear danger and protecting corporations when for years these guys were chasing some idiots living in mountains or bombing a desert somewhere.

I have to wonder, "who the hell was this stupid"?

China ain't gonna do shit.

We are their biggest market, by far. Japan doesn't buy much from them, India hates them, the EU severely restricts their imports.... China has to listen to Trump when he talks about slamming them.

He could. We could do okay without China. It would hurt for a little while but there's a lot, really a LOT, of up and coming Emerging Markets that would love to replace China as our Shoppin Market.

China needs us, we don't need them. At all.

Plus the fact, China is run by leftists. And leftists are unifomrly the dumbest motherfuckers on the Planet. They're too slow to respond, too rigid, too dogmatic and frankly just not real bright.

Xi don't wanna play with Trump. He don't wanna give Trump an excuse to destroy them economically. He's still pissed about that scam they ran with the COVID fraud that cost him the election. They don't want to give him an excuse.

Trump be like --

If I were president, I'd guarantee I would be able to decimate China or any other nations economy if I chose.

America is the consumption/debtor market. If I'm not charging nations an entry fee I am hurting myself and my leverage.

If I'm not charging the biggest threats to my nations power and survival, economic and otherwise; I am a traitor.

China has a $1T trade surplus. What if that is cut in half? Cut by 2/3rds?
