I hear you. As shown total murders is higher as a percentage in Chicago than Dallas and Houston, but not that much higher. INteresting differences: 1) gun control focus in Illinois. 2) I do not have metroplex numbers for DFW (Dallas is really a blob of Dallas, FOrt Worth, Iring, Grapevine etc. and their suburb's, and Chicago's metro, and same for the sprawling juggernaut that is Houston.
