Chicago hasn't had a Republican mayor since the 1932-1933 time frame; damned-near a century ago.

The last one was William Hale (Big Bill) Thompson, who let the Al Capone Gang run rampant in Chicago.

Republicans got spanked for that in the 1932 elections.

But that sin is an ancient one and Chicago has wandered in the Democrat Desert for 40 years (X 2, plus change).

The old Chicago Republican Sin has long-since been punished and paid for.
