Cherish Your Friendships.

The last phone call with my sister ended with a terrible arguement.

I knew she was sick, but had no idea how advanced the cancer had gotten.

She died 3 weeks later.

I didn't get to say I'm sorry, I love you or goodbye.

You just can't get over it.
The old saying, "You can choose your friends but not your family". My sister started going out with a complete dickhead years ago, suffice to say, I never speak to both of them. My brother a few months ago said if I heard the news about our sister, I said no. Apparently she has some kind of blood cancer. And when the inevitable happens, it will a funeral that I won't be going to.

If I were you, I'd re-think that. Even if the guy she is with is a "dickhead" that is still your sister. You should go to the service to say goodbye to her. Remember the old happier days. You will be glad you went to her funeral as the years pass by.
