It is definitely not something to be trifled with, but it isn't as bad as the democrats would have you believe. I recall my folks being very concerned with keeping us in a dark room as it could spread to your eyes. May have been a wives tale, but I spent a week in a dark room. I vaxxed my kid with MMR, but I think it should be a personal choice.

I am 86 with a good memory yet my childhood days at that time was when WW2 was going on. It had to be mild for me to have nearly erased it from my mind. I recall another medical problem where my mom took me to the hospital for treatment and the cost to my parents had to be low since she never brought it up later as I got older.
