Nothing one can do about that. He could have just googled it or searched the darknet.

The internet is a big place, dangerous for the young. I know that I would have hated growing up in the social media age, I wouldn't have survived it.

Yes, but the thing is Chat GPT gave him personal messages and support. Also, Adam tried 3 suicide attempts prior to his 'successful' one this time. Didn't the parents know the kid had a problem?

I can't imagine as a parent going through that heartbreak. The unexpected is the worst. Probably the worst would be them just disappearing, that would just age someone like nothing else.

Regardless, the young are impressionable and in todays society they have more pressures and outside interference than ever.

I agree losing a child would be devastating for sure. The young are impressionable but, most would not do this. Adam apparently had other problems but who knew ChatGPT would aid in his death?

IMO ChatGPT is for lazy folks who can't think for themselves but, in this case, Adam's mental condition caused him to turn to it for suicide advice. Very sad and very scary.
