Saw him perform countless times over the years, but only had my first chance to photograph him when he opened for Lynyrd Skynyrd in Jacksonville back in 2018:

He was a great performer and a great American. He left his mark and he will be missed. RIP.

This right here is my most favorite video of him because he is singing with one of my most favorite singers, Hal Ketchum that is, who is still here, but sadly is said to have Alzheimer's Disease and dementia on his plate.
