Chainsaw Musk

I thought about this the other night, and I agree, it's bad for those who get laid off, I can't deny that. But, if they are in jobs that are a part of a system that is wasteful and needs to be cut, do we keep the job around? And keep having the taxpayers foot the bill for them?

There are a lot of taxpayers who don't have jobs that pay as well as some of these government jobs, and if their employer decides they need to scale back, those people will be let go. Government jobs seem to be the only ones immune from economic downturn and such.

Is it fair to those taxpayers to keep having to pay for other people who's jobs might be redundant and not needed?
I agree with you but there are better ways to get things done than firing indiscriminately

I am so happy for you. Enjoy it while it lasts. Remember that unexpected negative surprises always hurt the most.

Having said that, I HONESTLY hope that you are right, given that the catastrophe to our nation that I visualize happening would not occur. That would make me happy, given that this is not about ME but about what is good for the nation.

:flameth:
I appreciate your realization that it is at least possible that you are wrong. Too little of that these days.

So far, things are going exactly as expected. But the Empire will Strike Back.

Populism cannot be allowed to succeed.

Just look at the unprecedented length that the Powers That Be have gone to to keep President Trump from being a successful President.

First there was the Collusion Delusional that took up half of his first term, then COVID from a lab in China, then an impeachment, then another impeachment, a labelling in the press as a insurrectionist, even though he explicitly called for peaceful protests...after a vegetable won a mail in election..."the most secure election in history"... with 81 million votes, a bogus civil suit about loans, a bogus civil suit that the New York government specifically changed the statute of limitations to allow the E. Jean Carrol, a bogus criminal trial over an NDA that should have been a paperwork misdemeanor that magically became 34 felonies, an ASSASSINATION attempt that missed the center of his forehead by three inches from an assassin 150 yards away on an unguarded flat roof with line of sight to Trump's podium.

They are stunned and shook that Trump not only won, but won the popular vote, and majorities in the House and Senate. They have lost control of the narrative because they have revealed the propagandist nature of the MSM and only idiots believe the lies the biased media tells. They understand that they have already pushed to far...but what can they do?

The choices are either have all their plans undone, or risk revolution. And they never could get rid of those damn AR-15s...in fact, there are more in civilian hands than ever!

But they will do something. Crash the economy? Start a world war? Another plandemic? Bird flu is in the bullpen warming up. Time will tell...

This is probably our one shot in history to make things right. Unfortunately, a chainsaw is what is needed right now. Had our leaders actually ma aged this government according to the cotus, maybe this could have been done with a scalpel, but since trump has to run this office like he's only going to be here for 2 years...he's probably looking to make big gains in a short time.

How did the thousands of people who worked for Enron feel. Did anyone have sympathy for them?

A chainsaw to an entire goverment means starting from scratch. Do you HONESTLY believe that our government is in such bad shape? I don't

Musk appeared last night with a chainsaw that was depicting what he has done.

These are all the agencies and departments he has chainsawed

Appearing with a chainsaw is the worst way that any leader makes a point, when firing Americans from jobs that are critical for themselves and their families and getting rid of agencies and departments that are not only pivotal for the health of the nation but are key to everything we are and need.

This is laughing at you and me.

You are talking in general, and I am talking specifically. I have no problem (in fact applaud) when things that are broken, get fixed. The way things are getting fixed is by destroying the whole thing.

Getting rid of the cockroaches in a building is good. Burning the entire building to get rid of the cockroaches is stupid.
Sometimes the cock roaches run it all. Time to stop that.

ALL extremes are bad

Show me one time that the cockroaches were smart enough to run anything?

The reality is that you guys criticize the Democrats for being corrupt but if they are, they evidently were good enough to get it done. The other reality is that the Republicans (and especially Trump and Musk) have shown that they are more corrupt than the Democrats and even smarter and more knowledgeable about how to get it done.

You can't have the story both ways.

Do you want to lower corruption or raise it?

The fact it seems the corruption goes back to the Bush administration and beyond time to end it.

Awesome. Thanks for posting.

I do. I think we are in very bad shape. 99% of what we do is a direct violation of the cotus, 99% of our politicians are only about money and re-election, the people are over taxed and over worked, our government sends money to every little critter preservation plan in countries all over the world, paying for other random weird programs while our veterans sleep on the streets, and the taxpayers are having to just tread water.

We need less government, less spending, more attention paid to Americans, with taxpayers money, than paying for pensions and mansions for leaders in other countries..

The chainsaw is necessary at this time

Yes, starting with Trump, Musk and the Far Right in charge of the Senate

By the way, I have come to realize what you are doing, and I will not continue. End of story

Oh, I think the problems go MUCH deeper than trump, I'm hoping he actually solves some of them.

I'm not "doing" anything but answering your questions. What is it you think I'm up to? Please tell me because I'd like to know myself lol

Check your own posts. I am no idiot. I give the benefit of the doubt until proven wrong.

In their eyes, not only is the government evil, but everyone IN the government is evil.

Except, of course, enablers of the King Jesus 2.0.

This is a madness. It's a group paranoid psychosis. And again, the world has seen it before.

Instilled in their pea brains since Reagan.

Reagan claimed the government is the problem.
Then got elected, and proved it.

Trump is carrying on the tradition, but dumber.
