Since the Civil Rights Act of 1964 was passed and the War on Poverty was declared there have been increases in black crime, and jaw dropping increases in black illegitimacy. Black academic performance has improved little, if at all.

Out of wedlock birth rates have gone up for ALL RACES since 1964. Why? Because simply, there is no longer an obligation to marry a woman because you got her pregnant.

Not when she had the options of contraception and abortion.

Academics haven't improved for ANY race. But that has more to do with how we do education in this country, not due to any racial thing. There's too much bureaucracy, teachers teach to the test, etc.

The assertion that unmarried black men are committed to the raising of their illegitimate children is one of your more preposterous delusions. If they visit their illegitimate children at all it is when the unmarried mothers of those children cash their welfare checks. They come by to get some of the money themselves. They call this "Mother's Day."

With too few exceptions to be worthy of mention, illegitimate children raised on welfare grow up to be like their parents. Our economy is not generating jobs for people with IQs to the left of 75. According to Professor Arthur Jensen, that is where one fourth of the Negro population is.

Retired people paid into Social Security and Medicare all their lives. Welfare recipients are useless, and frequently dangerous parasites.

I think the fact based arguments of men like Charles Murray, and professors Arthur Jensen, Richard Herrnstein, and J. Philippe Rushton are credible. They explain the endurance of black social pathology in spite of, and possibly because of, the civil rights legislation and the War on Poverty.

Optimistic predictions about the potential of the Negro race are not credible because they have not been substantiated.
