Democratic strategist James Carville said in a new opinion piece for The New York Times that the current Democratic Party is “a cracked-out clown car.”

“Constipated. Leaderless. Confused. A cracked-out clown car. Divided. These are the words I hear my fellow Democrats using to describe our party as of late. The truth is they’re not wrong: The Democratic Party is in shambles,” Carville said in the Times piece released Monday.

I think Mandami is a gift we can point to. A lot of centrist democrats are not going to be very excited about him being the "face" of the party.

So that is what we have to make him.

Yes we are dysfunctional. 10-15 GOP senators won't vote to end the filibuster even knowing that the democrats will end it the first chance they get, so stupid. Trump has a fantastic list to do if there is no filibuster, otherwise we get stopped cold.

The NYT published Carville, so they must agree with him to a degree.
The good news is that most democrats ignore him and listen to Bernie, AOC, and now Mamdani.

James Carville is part of the problem. He won once with Clinton and has milked that for a paycheck ever since. Democrats need to retire him, Axelrod, and others, and bring in younger consultants from their base constituencies..
