Carrying a Gun Into a Police Station

Yes it's legal but there isn't much more to comment on based upon that crappy video.

It's been over 25 years now since I set foot in a police station. Do they not have security check points like courthouses do, especially at the front doors?

God bless you always!!!

It was a Black guy, right?

But of course, as usual, White, American racism trumps the Constitution every time.

Just like Reagan and Congressman Mulford did back in the day...

What do you think of this, legally and Constitutionally? It is Dearbornistan so that impacts my view

Some people lack simple common sense

The citizen in the video is a moron

I hope i'm getting this right:
Here on the island police have to check their guns in a precinct, they leave them in "drop boxes" and are unarmed while inside the precinct

This will depend on State Law ... Article I of the Michigan State Constitution guaranties the individual right to own a gun ... like on your own private property ... it's not uncommon to find reasonable limits on possessing a gun, like in courthouses or public parks ... again, it's state law ...

I'd call ahead ... ask dispatch to have a uniformed officer meet me at the front door and either escort me around or just simply take possession of the weapon ... most states have "lock, stock and barrel" laws anyway so I have to wonder why the the person has an assembled gun on his hip ... like they live in Oregon or something ...

It's absolutely not allowed for concealed carriers in Ohio, I can tell you that.

This is Dearborn MI. Might be illegal to bring it into the police station. Not sure. He'll fall back on the first and second amendment no doubt. Dearborn isn't interested in your rights though. He's lucky he's not dead

Josef Stalin would be proud. The man is in a public place exercising his Constitutional right. Was it a smart move to go into a snake pit with your gun? Probably not but it did reveal a nasty truth concerning how far down America has crumbled.

Andy Griffith would have said: "That's a mighty fine gun you have there. What brand is it? I bet you can hit a squirrel on the first shot."

Many of today's cops are badged Karens.

The Second Amendment doesn’t list location exceptions.
Here in Texas, there is a no firearms allowed inside sign that must be posted at all entry doors. I'm pretty sure that the cop shops have them up. The hospitals do.

Legal or not, this dude was being an asshole and trying start an argument. He could/should have complied and then sort things out afterward. Instead he was the equivalent of a racist black arguing a traffic stop.

So its acceptable for the government to pull a gun on you and threaten your life for being an asshole?
The answer is no. It is not acceptable. Its perfectly legal to be an asshole. The only question of legality I saw in the video was what the cops did.
Bootlicker.

The Second Amendment also says no laws will be made to restrict the use of firearms and how did that work out?
