Before the recent one Grenada was considered safe for cruising boaters by their insurance companies. Many boaters migrated there to ride out the recent hurricane. They sailed right directly into disaster. They were abiding by the insurance companies' demands.

Those who chose Antigua did so contrary to the demands of the insurance companies and experienced nothing more than 30=35 knot winds with no damage to boats or ashore.

Climate change has resulted in making changes to upgrade the hurrican risk for the entire Caribbean.
