Canada's poor health system that caused this woman to die after long wait in the emergency room?

Of course private sector hospitels fear getting sued

Its the socialists who are immune grom consequences
Stop watching Fox News.

It’s a big lie that doctors and hospitals are under heavy litigation. If this were true, the third leading cause of death in this nation wouldn’t be medical mistakes.

THINK.

And the US is close to having the same system thanks to obummer and the loony left

Canada is part of the new world order and they want what the world economic forum wants, less people, even their own citizens.

Canada has made it so easy to kill yourself they even offer it to people who don't need it or want it.

"Mature minors" can get the government to kill them.

Others say they are being pushed to kill themselves.

People 'do' die in ER's. I think the problem is much bigger in America due to the poor and middle class relying on ER's so heavily. And too, as I mentioned when this thread appeared yesterday, people in America die when turned away from an ER on account of cost considerations and presumably 'class' considerations.
Wouldn't be that way of they got a job.

How many countries want to adopt a U.S. healthcare system placing an insurance company in charge of their healthcare?

Foolish Canadians should just let everyone have guns, like we do. It`s a quick and cowardly way to off oneself.

A 12-year-old girl had her leg amputated after she waited 10 hours in an emergency room for her fracture to be treated, according to a lawsuit filed against a New Mexico hospital.

There are many places around the U.S. where you can easily wait this long in an ER waiting room.

It used to be you went to the emergency room when you had a true emergency. Today, much of the time you have to compete with people that really don't need to be there, but are there because they don't have a doctor. Homeless people, illegals, irresponsible people, addicts, they all take time away from the everybody else.

When you go to the ER, your place on the priority list is based on the APPARENT urgency of your case. This woman probably LOOKED healthy and was complaining of generalized pain. If she had been an obese 60-year-old man with indications of a heart attack, she would have been taken right in. Lotsa blood, broken bones sticking out through the skin, exposed organs, those are the things that get you attention in the ER.

She was a victim of her apparent good health, with no acute emergency situation. Once they figured out her case was serious it was too late.

Has nothing to do with socialized medicine. Could have happened anywhere, depending on who else showed up at the ER that day.

People who simply can't afford to see a doctor.....................

Thing is, the US has this great system, and yet most people can access it.
Imagine, the US federal govt spends MORE per capita on healthcare than the UK govt spends on the NHS. Imagine the NHS took 16% of GDP instead of 9%. Imagine how great it'd be.
The US spends so much, the rich get great service and the poor get FUCKED. And it's not because of Obamacare.
And then you get people coming on here demanding the rich get great care and that the poor just die on the streets. I literally know someone from New Jersey who moved to China because she couldn't afford healthcare in the US with her pre-existing condition.

Exactly like capitalist medicine.

Capitalist medicine pays for all of those medical advances that have raised the life expectancy for humanity.

Socialist medicine leeches off of capitalist medicine and still screws up.

Dream on sonny.

Hospitals don’t fear lawyers. That’s a misnomer just like you thinking that shit doesn’t happen here. LMFAO!
You don’t know what “misnomer” means, do you? LMFAO!

At exorbitant prices, so the HC establishment can make their billions in profits. Anyone who has dealt with the system knows how corrupt it is, when it comes to costs.

I recognize a capitalist system does generate innovation, but there are multiple problems. I suspect you'll refuse to believe there are problems.

Life expectancy is fallen for years in the US. Our HC system failed us terribly during Covid. Many Americans can’t afford HC services because they can’t afford it. Many go bankrupt every year from HC costs. The third leading cause of death in the US is medical mistakes. Something needs to be done to fix the system.
