I won't even buy Chinese aftermarket junk auto parts. Not sure why anyone would want a vehicle built entirely of those parts.

But have at it. Then curse your stupid decision when stranded on the road at -30 Fahrenheit.

With the ending of free trade between Canada and the US, Canada is developing new trade agreements with China and Europe instead. This is a long term strategic shift for the US's former largest trading partner. At least trump got an award from FIFA.

"Global trade moves further from U.S". We got decreases on canola tariffs. In exchange, they will be shipping 70k EV cars (49k to start). Cars which the U.S wont allow in their nation I suspect as even Biden blocked them.

America is responsible for purchasing 70-75% of Canadian exports. China takes 4-5% of our goods.

Not any more.

I think Canada won't be buying US goods.
We wont be buying goods from any nation that isnt 3rd world or employing slave labour. We are broke here. Economically, socially, spiritually.

Dont blame me, I am just the Messenger.

We are being left behind.

MAGA idiots and their war on education are only causing this nation to fall further behind, not to mention their disdain for our most stalwarts allies are just exacerbating our decline.

You’re not a messenger. You’re making a choice and dressing it up as inevitability.
What you’re actually saying is that you’d rather Canada place itself at the economic mercy of a single volatile actor, one who routinely breaks his own agreements, treats allies as disposable, and has openly floated annexation rhetoric toward your country, than pursue imperfect but sovereign trade alternatives.

Canada isn’t “broken” economically, socially, or spiritually. That narrative exists to justify submission, not reality. If you believe collapse is inevitable, it’s not because the country failed, it’s because you’ve already decided where your loyalty lies.
That says nothing about Canada. It says a great deal about you..

Countries, like business, look for predictable, stable policy, in order to plan and produce. Not surprising, this result of Trump Trade war/tariff war with Canada, China, and the world.

The Trump regime continues to fail as the US moves into economic isolationism, to the detriment of the US economy.

We need an international investigation into CCP ties to the current Canadian government. Obviously non-US NATO nations will have be excluded from this, along with China.

China is a larger market than the U.S. It going at least one generation to repair the damage 47 has done to this country.

How much more does China import than the US?

Personally I think that P. M. Mark Carney just angered a high percentage of the population of Ontario so he should be gone in the next federal election.
