First it was the War of 1812. Then it was gold medal soccer game at the 1904 St Louis Olympics. Then it was when Canada beat the US at football in London during WWII. Then it was when Ben Johnson crushed Carl Johnson in the 100m dash at the 1988 Olympics in Seoul only for Johnson to be unfairly stripped of his gold after the Americans spiked his drink at the bar the night before. The Blue Jays. The Raptors. The winning never stops for Canada!

When the US becomes the 11th province, all this losing will stop for you, Americans. You'll have to give up your guns, accept government run healthcare to experience the pleasures of waiting months on end for routine procedures, and poutine at every meal, but it'll be worth it for you since you'll no longer have to hide you passport in shame when you travel abroad!

That was an excellent game, top players on both sides, tight game that needed OT. Mcdavid has been the scoring champ now for the past 5+ years or so, seems only fitting he got the GW

Boo

Until next time snow Mexicans
Canada created hockey so it's kinda their sport, the reason they are so good at it
Still funny how we have a baseball team in Toronto, basically all of Canada roots for them

For any of our people who trained with their Princess Pat's Light Infantry are in for a lifetime memory.

They are great winter soldiers.

In a 3 to 2 loss, Canada beat the US hockey team in overtime. President Donald Trump congratulated both teams by saying, "First, I want to congratulate the US team for a hard-fought game, it's just too bad we had to lose to the communists since Lake Placid in 1980. Secondly, I would like to thank the Canadian Hockey team as well, for the practice round before the Olympics when the game will actually matter. Elon Musk and I look forward defunding you and your red commie team by closing down USAID completely. Then we will see how good you really are."

dont matter... its funny how they all come here to make the big bucks....

You should quit making things up. It wasn't unfairly because he didn't even file an appeal. At the time us Canadians were thinking, "What a frickin' idiot'

The U.S. got beat by the best hockey player on the planet, the Finals MVP from last season on the losing team, that's how good McDavid is.

STAY ON TOPIC!
This thread is in the SPORTS area. Keep politics out!

No idea what the 4 Nation Face Off thing is. Congrats to Canada for winning their national sport. :)

FFS, why doesn't the NBA do something like this for their All Star game?

USA vs. The World.

It would surely be competitive, with Luka, Joker, Wemby, and a ton of other good international players out there. I have heard the lazy ass players would rather take part in that pitiful excuse they call an All Star game than have a competitive game.

We should outlaw hockey after Canada becomes our 51st state.
that would not sit well at all, hockey has been pushed into the deep south and CA and they are making $$$

good luck with that

haha at us taking over Canada, won't happen regardless of what trump says, he has no power to do so

Good idea, anything would be better than the NBA All-Star snore fest.
