Regardless of who wins the election, can we wait until Jan. 20 before we have a functioning President? If Kamala wins, can she remove Biden before then? If Trump wins, would there be some way to install him early? We are in the midst of two escalating foreign wars. Who is in charge of U.S. policy right now?

We haven't had one for nearly 4 years. We can wait a couple more months.

Biden can only be removed from office by impeachment and conviction by Congress. That's not going to happen. He can be removed from power by the 25th Amendment, but that seems pretty unlikely too. He'd still be President, but Harris would have all the powers of President. My prediction is that if Trump wins Biden will resign so that Harris will become the first brown female President, even if it's only for 2 months.

No.

We are in the midst of two escalating foreign wars. Who is in charge of U.S. policy right now?
Globalist bureaucrats.

if Trump wins, I expect Joe to officially step down within 2 weeks.

giving democrats bragging rights to having the first female president.

There is nothing to stop Trump from taking over early, except America's military.

it would be in the best interest of the country regardless of who wins to remove joe as soon as possible,,

well other than the constitution,,

but you not being an american wouldnt know that,,
Trump has promised to have that cancelled. He won't need to though.

Keep the cards and letter coming! You're a more rational asshole than the Dook today.

But for now let's all be together on getting Trump elected!

sure he did,,

I doubt it would happen, but Joe and Kamala could both resign if the House elected Trump as Speaker.

STFU, duck. You're a moron who lives in LaLaLand.
I think that after Trump is elected we're not going to be able to disagree on anything that happens in America anymore.

If I was talking to any other concerned American, I would say that the chickens are all going to come home, rather than the ducks coming home.

Keep the cards and letters coming my friend!

sure he did,,
You're of use again!

Can the president violate the Constitution?

Some scholars argue that Presidents must enforce all congressional laws, without regard to his or her own constitutional opinions. Yet modern Presidents occasionally exercise a power to ignore such enactments on the grounds they are not true “laws” subject to the faithful execution duty.

We haven’t had a functioning president for some. So apparently, we don’t really need one.

According to Harris and many democrats, Biden is perfectly able to handle the job of being president, it's just a long grueling campaign he wasn't up to.
