i was working for Microsoft starting in 1992 and even then the internet was still a "what exactly is this???" and making txt scroll back and forth was pretty cool and time consuming in notepad.

to say it's come a long way since then is a vast understatement. i'd agree the speed in which we can argue and exchange ideas is faster than ever and at times, hard to handle and digest. we reply before we think usually.
