I too believe Mr. Trump can get a fair trial. Although I find his very person anathema, I believe in the justice system. I will not be upset if the jury finds Mr. Trump innocent. Why? The prosecution still has to prove it's case -- in a court of law: "Better that Ten Guilty Persons Go Free Than that One Innocent Person be Convicted."

You're confused about the purpose of a trial.

A trial is not a silly formality that we have to go through before we stick it to a political opponent who we know is guilty - at least of being a political opponent. A trial is meant to fairly determine whether a person is guilty of a crime beyond a reasonable doubt. Then we can stick it to him.
