Can Trump Be Trusted With Social Security?

Boy are you uniformed. Democrats ILLEGALLY took Trump off ballots and even the Supreme Court ruled they could not do that. The vote was 9-0. If you want to post here you should really be more informed than you are.
I addressed that. You don’t listen very well. This was all handled before anyone voted and Trump is one person, not all Republicans.

Trump tried to take away our votes after we voted. Effectively disenfranchising millions of Americans.

You represent exterminations. You are not foundation. You suck from producers from what is normal as normal.

Hard to tell what he talking about CUTTING here but it doesn’t sound good.

Do you trust him?

So, when the answer is not clear, huffpo, and then you, will just insinuate an answer.

How about this, let’s wait til we actually find out what he means first, then make a post berating him.

What is your solution? There are not enough "rich" people to carry the unfunded liability.

Democrats have been doing that for years.

Well, Trump made no attempt to cut a dime from Social Security during his first term. So why would you think he has any plans to do so in a second term? Plus, he has spoken out against privatizing Social Security over and over again for years now.

This being said, if we're honest and realistic, we'll recognize that we're going to have to scale back Social Security benefits in some manner, or else the system will go bust. We have overpromised. We have no foreseeable way to pay for the SS benefits that we are now promising.

We could start by applying the SS tax to all payroll income instead of just part of payroll income.

We could also impose a means test, a benefit threshold, so that if your private retirement income is above $80K per year, you only get half of your currently promised SS benefit; if your private retirement income is above $100K per year, you only get 10% of your currently promised SS benefit; and if your private retirement income is above $150K per year, you get no SS benefit.

Talk to the massive drunk Tip O'Neill. This is where we are at.
