The thing that is most queer about these mandates is that they are based on the false presumption that without a hand on the scales, qualified POC's, wimmin, and Sexual Irregulars will be left sucking the hind teat...IN COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES!
This is ridiculous. They have been being "advantaged" for GENERATIONS now, getting fellowships, grants, positions, and degrees with credentials and work that would be substandard or failing for any White or Asian scholar.
Do you, dear reader, find it at all concerning that the very institutions that "we" rely on to help us navigate safely and successfully into the future are more concerned with social bullshit than they are with the actual science that is their mission?
