His telling Bondi to open an investigation of Dems in those files is simply to prevent there release because they are part of an ongoing investigation. The fact that so many of those who did vote him seem to have had an expectation that in the very least he was going to release Epstein's client list, because that was one of his campaign promises, is more important.
