No, of course not!

I might have been trained in that matter too by the Church, when young...but not in a forceful, sticking way...I never believed it either.

i was told that i must confess this, so i did

but even as a boy i thought while confessing it, that it cannot possibly be a sin for a Catholic to attend a Protetant church service

They were not that forceful in my Church! I did not have to Confess it! It was just an underlying feeling that I came away with...somehow? I'm really up there in years so this was a very long time ago....hard to remember.

i was not told that by a person.
but i was asked the question in our printed confession manual

and today i think it was a sin to put the question in a manual for children

as a boy i was told that it would be sinful

i did not believe it then, and i do not believe it now.

what do you think?
No ..most will welcome you in ....especially if your curious Jews Islam Christian Buddhist Hindus....
If there's gay tranny time you're not in a real Church

as i said, it was because i had been to a Protestant service as a Catholic.

what i wonder ,,,, would a Protestant see it as sinful to attend a Catholic Mass?

Today is the funeral of the deceased Duchess of Kent in Westminster Cathedral in London, worth noting, with regard to your thread, she converted to Roman Catholicism quite late in life, with the permission and approval of Queen Elizabeth. When one thinks of the wars fought between Protestantism and Catholicism in former times.

Today, in the aforementioned cathedral, a requiem mass will be held over the coffin, where it has been lying in state for the past two days. I presume most members of the Royal Family will attend, including tbe King.
