California in decline thanks to good intentions gone awry

I used to love to visit my relatives in California. But they were older and they've all passed on.
Thankful for that cuz now I don't have to visit that screwed up state.
Besides
All those stinkin californians that I would have visited are now my neighbors here in Burley, idaho

My daughter lived in San Diego in an upscale gated condo community....It was very nice, nice area too.

In less than a year after the dems took over the city/county the nickname for the place was Fort Apache due to all the homeless and "migrant" camps that went up all around it.

Business all around it closed. It was not even safe to go to the bus stop. She left and came back to Virginia.

Newsom and the dems are practicing stupidity on a massive level

California used to be the goose that lays the golden eggs

But libs are doing their best to ruin that ideal

Everything is going exactly to plan.

Compared to Florida? What Republicans are doing in their Sunshine State is no better.

Florida's economy in 2026 faces significant pressure from a severe affordability crisis, driven by skyrocketing housing costs and insurance premiums, which have made it the second most financially distressed state in the US. High inflation, stagnant wages, and a potential, modest slowdown in job growth and tourism are exacerbating financial strain on residents.

That's a shame. Loved San Diego when we were there. No homemless bums sleeping on and pissing in the streets just beauty everywhere.

And still people move there more and more.

Last time I was down in the panhandle in 2024 I saw multiple new developments being built, obviously they have a reason to be doing that.

It's a credit to the existing infrastructure and overall tax base that they haven't collapsed yet, despite dems doing everything they can to make it happen.

Everything reaches its breaking point sooner or later though.

And still people move to California too.

Sure rich people. And people who find jobs in Florida. Just like people who find jobs in California.

You still can't avoid the fact that 43% are living paycheck to paycheck and 50% of residents say they are considering leaving.

Florida is going the same way California is going.

This is like picking on illegals in Minnesota when most of them are in Florida and Texas.

Net negative for the past few decades.

All these numbers, zero links or backup.

Florida and Texas cooperates with ICE and has the illegals in custody numbers to prove it.

Repubs in Florida are not the cause of Florida’s problems the way Democrats on california are busy cutting their own throats
