Not the middle of nowhere
“I hate to sound like a wet blanket, but this is nice. It’s well-intentioned, but it won’t do anything,” says Jon Foley, executive director of the California Academy of Sciences. “We’re being bad scientists—not in how we look at our climate data but in how we look at our communication data.” He says scientists are wrong to hope that simply explaining the science again will change the minds of politicians who have not listened before."

Top U.S. Science Organizations Hammer Congress on Climate Change—Again

:2up: :coffee::2up: :coffee: :2up::coffee:

Yep...........year after year, the top science organizations lob bombs at congress about "doing something" about climate change.

And year after year.........nobody is caring and the bozo's left looking like this.........:desk:

So.........lets call a spade a spade...............who's not winning?:eusa_dance:

And kinda funny as hell......for 10 years in here, weve seen a billion posts by the alarmist contingent in here ALWAYS explaining the science in here and who dominates this forum? Skeptics!! By every measure. ( take a gander at how sad AGW initiated threads are compared to skeptic threads....see "views" and "post count" ).......

duh

People are bored of this same old lame presentation.......as much creativity as a small soap dish.

Assholes...........heres a tip...........time to reinvent your asses.:bye1::bye1::spinner::spinner::spinner:

Pointing to the top weather story and shrieking "we have consensus it was caused by manmade global climate warming change" is just not science

Didn't the great leader of the scientific consensus crowd Al Gore predict that we would all be dead by now as global warming wrote death and destruction on all we know?

But have no fears because the scientific consensus in the EU says that lack of water is not the cause of dehydration...

...So I spect' that means that even if the world turns to a desert as the global warming crowd predicts we won't have to worry about dying from lack of water.

*****CHUCKLE*****

No- but the skeptics have been making lies like that ever since Al Gore warned about the dangers of global warning.

Al Gore is the "great leader of the scientific consensus"? I didn't know. When did you find that out and who told you?

Many people still smoke themselves to cancer and drink themselves to death even though science has shown in excruciating detail that death is what follows these behaviors.

There are some people you can't reach with reality until they're on a respirator with a few months left to live. This is the same with Global Warming deniers. They're as ignorant as humans come, but the reality is so scar to them they cling to unreality until the bitter end.

The science was settled 15 years ago, Global Warming is real and accelerating.

But those people aren't damning society like Gore

No, we cannot change the minds of the present politicians. Time to change the politicians.
I completely agree. Time to put a business man in office. Let's get some accountability and stop kissing party politics.

OK, get a real businessman. Not a swindler who inherited tens of millions of dollars, who has had over 3500 lawsuits filed against him, who had stiffed regular working people and scammed the elderly and veterans. We don't need someone like that.

But if you want to see him up close, just find out what his court schedule is and you can see him there. I know it's after the election, but before the inauguration.

But if you know someone who is a scam artist and a swindler, why would you think he won't scam you?

Happens all the time and still its ePiC losInG on the side of the AGW folks.......my God........some idiot spent 85 million of his own money ( think the name is Steyer ) to fund global warming candidates and almost every single one got decimated. in the last mid-terms.

Lets be real here.......are people going to vote to have their electric bill raised by 100%? Who'd be clamoring to pull the lever for that candidate? Moreover, people are simply not........for decades now............siting around the dinner table worrying about what might happen with the climate 50 years from now. They are worrying how they'll get to the end of the month with paying their bills or how they get their kids to college? duh...........who cant figure that out?:coffee: Do I fix the old car or get a new one? Hold off on getting that balky knee checked by a specialist or not? Whether to send Dad to a nursing home? The neighborhood suddenly having some unseemly characters hanging out. When is the next mosque going up in my neighborhood?

Real shit.

Climate change?

Only a worry for people who have waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too little responsibilities in life.:bye1:

Global Warming will soon enough be the only issue that matters. The Sixth mass extinction is already underway, the fact that most people don't know this and you can't see species going extinct by the hour doesn't mean it isn't happening.

Reality cannot be ignored and soon enough all of the human race will understand the reality.
