Voting in federal election should be 100% only done by citizens. Think the current "registration" system is hap hazard and out of date says NOTHING about who should vote. As a matter of fact I support Voter ID laws (with some conditions). So slow down a little please.

The fact that you qualify it with "some conditions" tells Me that you actually don't care who casts votes in our elections.

It's akin to the lie that due process does not mean I support rapists when in fact, that wasn't the arguement at all.

The “some conditions” are that the documents needed for the ID are provided at no charge.

The second condition is that the ID is free of charge under used for other purposes. For example a drivers license to operate a vehicle or a passport for international travel. Other than those to it should be a free State or Federal ID.
M the third condition is an ombudsman office to assist those who have difficulty obtaining primary documents.
