Bye Bye Oil Price

Is that why our Federal Oil Reserve only has oil for 39 days?

Only if we used the reserve exclusively if US oil Production came to a screeching halt. If we used it to cover our oil deficit we'd have about 211 days. Neither of those scenarios are likely either. Prediction are that we will become oil independent under Biden sometime next year too.

If that were true, we'd be energy independent again.
That's utterly ridiculous. It makes no sense whatsoever. Why do you think oil companies care about (the myth) of energy independence? They produce exactly as much as they feel like producing.

And we are about to get less. What do you think will happen to the price of gas when our reserve is depleted?
We'll increase the oil we purchase from Mexico or some other county. But we will soon be oil independent which doesn't mean we will stop importing and exporting oil of course........

You are an idiot. Oil will be around much longer than you will be.

Right now US oil is plummeting rapidly like inflation, down to $77, a nice price
Joe Biden had the US pumping record amounts if both oil and nat gas, and the US is the biggest producer in the entire world !

Out of nowhere Trump's best buddy putin started a major war in Ukraine and completely disrupted the global oil and gas markets and cause prices to explode like Trump's deficits exploded.
Also Corrupt Mohamed Bin Salman, leader of Saudi Arabia who gave Kushner a $B bribe unexpectedly cut SA production to try and sabotage Biden's strong economy.

Joe Biden has done a magnificent job on energy, especially when you consider the circumstances.

I LOVE seeing leftists like you drop the "fossil fuels cause global warming" lie and cheer long and loud for MASSIVE oil drilling.

Keep it up!

Are you kidding? I know exactly how much they are pumping now. It is all on the data sheet that is attached to our royalty checks. And it doesn't come close to what they could be pumping. Ask the Indians out west what happened to their royalty checks:

When times are good, Mary Limpy, an Oklahoma Indian, lives in an apartment with her three children. When times are bad, she moves them into the family van, sometimes for a month.
The difference between good times and bad for Limpy is a royalty check from oil and gas leases on land in her Cheyenne-Arapaho family for generations. Bad times have dominated for the last two years -- but not because the wells are running dry.

The situation affects more than 250,000 Indians or tribal governments that rely on the Interior Department to collect and distribute about $146 million each year in mineral royalties from Indian lands.

Stop listening to the government. They lie...

If that were true, we'd be energy independent again. Biden has regulated the oil industry to death.
We are more energy independent now than ever before. (well 70 years or so) Look at the total net imports down at the bottom of the chart. Negative numbers indicates energy independence.

This next chart shows the recent history of Imports - Exports. It happened first under Trump in 2019 for a few weeks. But now, the oil patch is killing it.

And it doesn't come close to what they could be pumping.
You just ran headfirst into the point.

Did it hurt?

They are not (and never will be) producing to capacity because of maximizing profit.

How do you invest in oil and not understand this most basic principle? This is stuff college freshmen learn.

Ridiculous.
