Do you understand the point of USAID?

Personally, as a person who has been to Africa and seen what aid does there, I think that USAID and other aid, is wrong. Usually because they just send money to make themselves feel good about themselves.

Often it can hinder a country. People are just waiting for money.

What would be nice would be if they had a tariff deal where their goods are protected at home, but they're able to send their goods to the US without tariffs, so they can develop their businesses, instead off being given free money.

But, saying that, USAID works as a political tool to help the US be a world superpower. If the US leaves, Russia and China will step in. (They're probably already there right now).
