According to their website, the commission is comprised of “African States 15, Asian States 12, Eastern European States 5, Latin American & Caribbean States 11, Western Europe & Other States 10.” The African group is chaired by the representative from Morocco; the Asian group is chaired by the representative from Saudi Arabia; the Eastern European group is chaired by the representative from Azerbaijan. All of these countries are effectively dictatorships.

The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, al-Hussein, is a member of the Jordanian royal family who has spent the last several years attacking President Trump personally, using the Commission website to do it, and has called for the prosecution of Bush administration officials. He has called Jews living in East Jerusalem a “war crime.” The Human Rights Council has issued 135 critical resolutions from 2006 to 2016, and 50 percent were directed at Israel.

The United Nations has long been a repository for anti-Israel and anti-Semitic sentiment. So it’s no shock that they’re upset at Israel for defending itself.

I would argue that Israel's use of force protocols are actually defending Gazans, as much as Israelis. The point of this type of graduated use of force but with a clear boundary is to prevent an escalation where tens of thousands of Gazans breach the border. That would likely result in a MUCH more devastating body count.

Never. There are too many fake religious kershchins here who believe literally in the '144,000' being taken first and the end times and they're terrified of not having their face glued to Israel's ass all the time. It will never change. We just get moderate reprieves when we get a president that isn't a religious douchebag.

Another thing that will never stop is Palestinians fighting for and defending themselves violently as they are always met with violence by Israel. The governments response was piss poor as well.

We will not waver from our support for Israel’s right to defend its borders. But the large volume of live fire is extremely concerning. We continue to implore Israel to show greater restraint.
