Yeah, he has his dedicated fan base who will always go to see him but people no longer breathless wait for the next Springsteen release, so he now has to engage in this kind of silliness's in order to get media attention. He is not the first to do it and he won't be the last but doing this is clear sign one no longer has the relevance they used to and by Monday most won't be talking about this or him.

Now, I am not a fan of Springsteen, and wouldn't consider seeing his show, but none the less, lots of people are fans of his music, not necessarily his political thoughts....He should just shut up and sing.
