She's got it better than the US citizen political prisoners stuck in DC Gitmo, who have been beaten, mistreated, and placed in solitary confinement for extended periods over 2 years

Griner has travelled the world plenty enough to know that some countries have extremely harsh penalties for even small amounts of dope smuggling. IIRC Griner got sentenced to 9 fucking years of hard labor.

If you can't do the time, don't do the crime.

But IMO the State Department should still try to get Griner out of that prison.

Griner will see her white jailers and think they are just like Americans. If you think she will have any appreciation for this country you are mistaken. She hates whites. She hates America because of white people and she will hate Russia because of white people. If she lives, she will come back and write a book about how we are the same except America is WORSE. It was America's fault she was in Russia. If she was paid the same as Kobe Bryant she wouldn't have had to go to Russia scrounging for pennies.

If you think Griner will get any appreciation for this country think again. She won't.
