Brits Asked To Rank the UK vs. US States in Income. Their Answer: 7th. The REAL Answer is Shocking!

Keep coping.

You’re poorer than Mississippi
No! I don't think they are on average poorer than Mississippi.... on average gross income they are about the same, but in the UK benefits in healthcare, 28 days mandatory vacation pay, maternity paid leave 39 of 52 weeks leave are paid at 90%, college education benefits and mandatory housing benefits for poor and middle class are much better than in Mississippi.

It really can't be compared by just salaries imo.

You need the extra cash to pay for your extortionate healthcare Sue. And you still go bankrupt if you catch a cold.Doesnt happen here.
And if you don't use that healthcare, you can read about how Americans have it sooooooooooooooo much better.

Because you might not have a lot of cash to do anything else.

It must be worth taking the risk you wont fall ill.

Every country would look that low with that statistic. That statistic is NOT adjusted for purchasing power. Stuff cost more here than elsewhere so... our money doesnt go as far.

My jaw dropped when I read this. When asked, Brits though the UK would rank 7th in personal income among American states.

The real answer?

LAST. 51st.

Below Alabama. Below Mississippi. Below every single state the snooty Brits here, like Tommy Tainant love to turn their noses up at. Full report at link:

Not accurate as my post above points out.

Your great Healthcare didn't save your leg now, did it...

I have no interest in anything Mr and Mrs Average say on average about any average concern .
The quoted work is hogwash.

However , I know our own family financial position and it reads very nicely .
Almost ready to receive a Deep State Membership Application form .
The point of interest is that in the real world it appears that there are already more people in the US who are on the poverty line than the whole population of the UK .

Why not discuss the imminent financial collapse of the US rather than bogus research -- possibly even deliberate attempted Deflection .
Yeah, imported illegal aliens. Duh...

Oops

Same in US dipshit as energy price spike here bur regardless.... You cant obfuscate the numbers with me. I am about 2Xs smarter than you... we were comparing UK vs US cost to living.. .not rising costs from energy. Duh.

Renewable energy is the cause in the UK energy costs are much higher because they are building renewable energy. Thats forcing manufacturers to leave and come to Americas. Its cost much more to live in the UK. You pay more taxes and get lower wages.

Energy costs rose in the US 10% last year which was greater than the UK. What are you talking about?

I can only tell what is reported in aggregate. Your particular situation notwithstanding. We had 10% increases here. Stats show yours around 7% annually.

Increase here was caused by renewable energy but we still pay less then Europe. Europe is an energy disaster in the making

Oh. Energy is not cost of living? Huh. Way to go smartie pants

Wow, obfuscate. That is a pretty big word for conceal or cloud over, I know because I looked it up on my Mr. Green Jeans electronic dictionary. :smoke:

I am about 2Xs smarter than you...
It always comes back to that. Every tard here thinks they are so much smarter, tuned in and educated. Usually it turns out to be quite the opposite. If you are 2X smarter than Sue, you sure have a funny way of showing it.
